Create your own felted wall pod for displaying potted plants and air plants, or to use as a versatile storage pod.

During this 3 hour workshop we’ll cover the basics of felting around a flat resist before selecting your preferred colours and any additional decorative fibres you might like to add. Once you’ve felted your pod using hot soapy water and lots of elbow grease, we’ll look at how to cut and create the finished pod. Finally, you’ll learn how to attach a hanging cord in your chosen colour, using a punch and brass rivets.

Prior experience of felting will be an advantage, but it’s not essential.

All materials are provided, but please bring an old towel and a bag to transport your pod home. Light refreshments and hot and cold drinks will be available to fuel you through the workshop! Workshops will be taught with a maximum of 6 and minimum of 2 participants.
